Microsoft & Yahoo Marriage

The ONLY Question NOW IS: Together, can THEY beat GOOGLE?

Well, both are too greedy to do things properly. Yahoo’s usefullness went down when they started charging ridiculous prices for listing in their directory, and Microsoft pretty much destroyed companies it bought like LinkExchange when it started charging for free services (it also destroyed hotmail’s market lead through their greed).

Together, they’d likely be another AOL Time Warner.

Something like Mac and Altavista might work. “small” guys who don’t have an ego problem, working together to find new solutions, with growth ahead of them. That would enable the kind of innovation necessary, but then, even there egos get in the way.

So, what’s next; who will eventually buy-out eBay? Is this where this is leading to?
